An established industry player is seeking a dedicated individual to oversee material handling and safety compliance in a dynamic environment. This role involves ensuring that all safety protocols are followed, managing the movement of materials, and supervising forklift operations to maintain efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on safety and quality, with responsibilities including tracking consumables and ensuring proper housekeeping in the plant. Report while attending and relieving the duties.
Ensure the wearing of all safety PPEs while working and verify that all workers adhere to this requirement.
Track and issue regular consumable items, and record the readings of LPG / FO consumption.
Ensure proper CLTI (Cleaning, Lubrication, Tightening, Inspection) of the Charging Conveyor.
Maintain records of incoming materials received from the store / planning department.
Track and record the Anode shifting from ACP to Refinery.
Ensure all materials are stored in their designated places with proper identification tags / stickers / numbers.
Monitor mould movement and coordinate activities related to RGP / NRGP with SIC.
Control forklift movement and coordinate with the refinery to shift anodes according to the target quantity for the day / shift.
Record all material movement activities within the plant periphery, including weighing and documentation.
Coordinate with the forklift supervisor to address any breakdown issues promptly to minimize downtime.
Monitor RGP / NRGP activities in coordination with SIC.
Ensure the forklift checklist is filled out completely with all checkpoints under supervision.
Verify the charging register and ensure proper recording of charging materials.
Maintain proper housekeeping in the plant periphery and segregate scrap materials in coordination with the shift in-charge.
Send materials to the charging area as per the charging plan.
Ensure periodic calibration of weighing balances.
Supervise the filling of the FO day tank, record consumption, and provide data to SIC in a timely manner.
Receive ACP process consumables from the store in coordination with SIC.
