Role Summary and Impact

The Digital Director is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing and optimizing the company's digital presence across all content and social media channels. This role is key to driving brand awareness, engagement, lead generation, and revenue growth. The Digital Director will lead a team of content and social media professionals, developing and executing innovative digital strategies aligned with marketing and business objectives. This individual should be data-driven, with a deep understanding of digital marketing trends, content creation, social media platforms, and analytics. Responsibilities include:

  1. Developing and implementing comprehensive digital strategies that align with company goals.
  2. Defining KPIs and establishing measurable goals for digital content and social media initiatives.
  3. Staying updated on digital marketing trends, technologies, and best practices, proactively seeking innovation.
  4. Conducting competitive analysis to identify opportunities and threats.
  5. Presenting digital strategies and performance updates to senior management.
  6. Overseeing content calendar development to support marketing campaigns.
  7. Ensuring content quality, engagement, and optimization for SEO and social platforms.
  8. Collaborating with marketing teams (SEO, paid media) for a cohesive digital presence.
  9. Creating various content formats including blogs, videos, infographics, and social updates.
  10. Generating regular digital performance reports with insights and recommendations.
  11. Using data to inform content strategies and campaign optimizations.
  12. Managing social media accounts to ensure consistent brand messaging and audience engagement.
  13. Assisting in crisis communication and reputation management as needed.
Skills and Experience
  1. 7-10+ years in digital marketing, content marketing, or social media management.
  2. Proven success in developing and executing digital strategies.
  3. Strong leadership and team management skills.
  4. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
