Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Purchase Manager to oversee our company’s procurement activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials, products, and services required for operations.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Develop, lead, and execute purchasing strategies in alignment with company goals.
2. Source and vet suppliers, and maintain strong supplier relationships.
3. Negotiate terms and pricing with vendors to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality.
4. Analyze market trends to identify potential risks and opportunities in procurement.
5. Manage inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment to avoid shortages or overstocking.
6. Prepare and process purchase orders in accordance with company policies and procedures.
7. Monitor supplier performance and address any issues related to quality, delivery, or service.
8. Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., production, finance, logistics) to understand material needs and delivery timelines.
9. Track key performance indicators and prepare procurement reports for senior management.
10. Ensure compliance with legal and company regulations in all purchasing activities.

Requirements :

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field (Master’s or MBA is a plus).
• Proven work experience (5+ years) as a Purchase Manager or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
• Familiarity with supply chain and inventory management systems.
