About the job:

We seek an experienced Technical Project Manager to oversee development efforts, working closely with developers, product managers, and the CTO to ensure project success. The role involves hands-on management and technical guidance.

Key requirements include a strong understanding of Node.js, a successful track record of product launches, experience with modular development, and familiarity with peer-to-peer stacks, especially Holepunch. Prior experience with peer-to-peer systems is highly desirable.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and plan daily development activities.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Manage the full software development lifecycle from planning to deployment.
• Resolve technical issues and provide guidance.
• Ensure timely delivery of projects.
• Improve processes and practices.
• Communicate progress, risks, and solutions to stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of leadership experience managing multiple projects.
• 2+ years in software development with Node.js.
• Basic understanding of peer-to-peer systems.
• Experience with Python, C++, and Rust is advantageous.
• Proven success in launching products.
• Strong knowledge of system architecture, microservices, and development best practices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams.
• Experience managing developers with varying experience levels.
• Familiarity with modern development practices: CI/CD, automated testing, agile methodologies.
