Key accountabilities
- Manage teams responsible for monitoring lease administration, tenant relationship management, rent collection, and lease renewals on all contracts.
- Manage the Property Management teams liaising with the Projects department to incorporate new assets/properties into the Property Management system.
- Ensure compliance with government requirements and address any discussion points before signing contracts with government clients for leasing properties.
- Ensure compliance with all insurance procedures for all responsible contracts.
- Take appropriate action in response to any legal notices related to managed properties.
- Prepare site-specific Standard Operating Procedures.
- Generate weekly/monthly reports and statistics.
- Collaborate with Contract Managers to develop, innovate, and operate property management systems and processes.
- Identify needs for continuous improvement on contracts.
- Manage communications and relationships with tenants, clients, and stakeholders.
- Liaise with Contract and Finance Managers to develop tenant service charge budgets.
What we are looking for in our candidates :
- A proven track record of implementing continuous improvement and change management.
- Experience engaging with a wide range of stakeholders, including commercial and public sector entities.
- Expertise in developing and implementing best practice technical documentation.
- Extensive international experience, preferably in the Middle East/UAE.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Specific requirements
- Minimum of X years experience in commercial and retail property management within the Middle East.
- Experience using estate/property management systems.
- Practical knowledge of all aspects of property management operations.
- At least 5 years experience in people management.
- Continuous updating of knowledge regarding property management legislation.
- Ability to leverage real estate and property management knowledge to advise clients.
- Ability to create tailored solutions for clients and tenants.
- Strong skills in building and maintaining tenant and customer relationships.
- Understanding of legal principles of tenancy agreements and efficient process application.
- Knowledge of all relevant local and national regulatory and procedural requirements.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships within the Housing Services Department and other divisions.
