Job description

We are seeking a strategic and hands-on HR Manager for our client which is a leading FMCG Brand with a production facility based in Sharjah. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy. This role covers the full spectrum of HR functions including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compliance, compensation & benefits, learning & development, and organizational development.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

  • Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle (job postings, screening, interviewing, onboarding).
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to forecast and plan workforce requirements.

2. Employee Onboarding & Offboarding

  • Design and execute effective onboarding programs for new hires.
  • Conduct exit interviews and analyze turnover trends.
  • Ensure proper offboarding documentation and compliance.

3. Employee Relations

  • Foster a positive workplace culture and handle employee grievances or conflicts.
  • Act as a mediator and advisor in employee disputes or disciplinary actions.
  • Promote effective internal communication and employee engagement initiatives.

4. Performance Management

  • Implement and manage performance appraisal systems.
  • Support managers in goal setting, feedback, and performance reviews.
  • Drive a culture of continuous feedback and development.

5. Learning & Development

  • Identify training needs and develop appropriate learning programs.
  • Organize workshops, seminars, and e-learning sessions.
  • Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness.

6. Compensation & Benefits

  • Design and administer competitive compensation and benefits programs.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and internal equity standards.
  • Manage payroll in coordination with the finance department or third-party vendors.

7. HR Policies & Compliance

  • Develop, update, and enforce HR policies and procedures.
  • Ensure legal compliance with labor laws, health & safety regulations, and employment standards.
  • Maintain employee records and documentation as per legal requirements.

8. Organizational Development & Change Management

  • Lead HR efforts in organizational restructuring and change initiatives.
  • Support leadership in succession planning and talent management.
  • Conduct workforce planning and employee engagement surveys.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 10+ years of proven experience in HR management preferably in a manufacturing /factory setting.
  • Solid understanding of labor legislation and HR best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational abilities.
  • Experience with HRIS software and Microsoft Office Suite.
