Hub Division Manager – Process Automation Energy Industries (PAEN) - India, Middle East & Africa (IMEA)

You will be working as Hub Division Manager PAEN IMEA, will be part of Process Automation Business Area for Energy Industries division based in Abu Dhabi, UAE. In this role you will be responsible to lead PAEN India, Middle East and Africa Hub and drive profitable growth through local organizations and countries represented in the Hub ensuring design and execution of global Division and Business Line strategies in the Hub through effective management of the Hub business unit and operations including Marketing and Sales (M&S), Operations (Production and/or Project management), Supply Chain, Quality, and Operational Excellence.

Your responsibilities

• Implementing the Global Division as well as Hub PAEN IMEA business strategy, full P&L responsibility of Hub IMEA, ensuring achievement of established targets through regular oversight and definition of improvement actions as needed.
• Delivering operational/project targets to ensure customer satisfaction and improving net promoter score (NPS), ensuring achievement of all financial, operational, and other organizational budget, targets and KPIs of the Hub through direct and active leadership and management.
• Executing defined operational excellence strategy and quality standards, driving executional excellence across all products/projects/services and processes through target setting, monitoring, and bench-marking for innovative processes
• Maintaining compliance with quality standards and developing systems for capturing, monitoring, and improving day to day operations, driving productivity, delivery performance and cost optimization,
• defining and creating M&S strategy for Hub together with the leadership team and Hub Sales Manager
• Full end to end responsibility across project execution, engineering, Supply chain Management (SCM), service assuring that we successfully deliver and execute per our contractual commitments and financial commitments to our customers, all associated resources performing this work as well including driving high value engineering centers engagement.
• Strong leadership in living and driving the ABB values and group standards, implementing Health safety (HSE) and business compliance standards and regulations within the Hub organization, ensuring a safe working environment, continuous HSE improvement processes and integrity performance.
• Implementing and ensuring compliance with global and local standards, rules, tools, policies and
• processes related to sales, operations/project execution and service operations and/or project
• execution, sharing functional best practices and lessons learned across the organization.
• As part of the job role ensuring that fiduciary requirements are followed and executed in the countries of responsibility, ensuring that company follows legally required number of local nationals in countries of Middle East – UAE, QA, BH, KW. Ensuring with HR Manager support that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed, guiding, motivating, and developing direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies.

Your background

• Bachelor of Engineering with master’s degree preferred.
• Thorough understanding of Automation & Electrical, Solution, Service and Partner businesses and cus-tomer needs, good problem-solving skills.
• 15+ years of experience in profit & Loss at global and regional level
• Proven personal leadership, cultural sensitivity.
• Ability to lead the change target and solution orientated mindset.
