Job description

Job Purpose:

HR manager is responsible for recruiting and staffing, ensuring the organization attracts and retains qualified candidates through effective recruitment strategies and onboarding processes. HR Manager manages employee relations by addressing grievances, enhancing engagement, and facilitating communication. Performance management involving performance appraisals, goal setting, and employee development. They oversee training and development programs, compensation and benefits, ensuring legal compliance and competitive salary structures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the full employee lifecycle.
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring.
  • Collaborate with department heads to understand their hiring needs and create job descriptions and specifications.
  • Conduct interviews and assessments to evaluate candidates skills, experience, and cultural fit.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal requirements and best practices.
  • Maintain and update HR records on HRIS (we use BambooHR).
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with the business, serving as a trusted advisor on all people matters across the entire generalist remit.
  • Provide guidance and support on employee relations, including investigations and conflict resolution.
  • Support managers with performance management, pay reviews, and other projects as and when required.
  • Foster a positive work environment through employee engagement initiatives and recognition programs.
  • Manage employee benefit programs, including health insurance, and other perks.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Lead and manage HR projects and initiatives that support business objectives, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
