Synopsis

Responsible for designing and developing technology solutions for Value Streams, ensuring that solution designs conform to architectural standards, business requirements, budgets, and align with Digital, Technology & Architecture strategy.

Accountabilities

1. Work within Value Streams, as part of projects or agile delivery teams, to develop solution and technology designs, standards, and build architecture runways.
2. Collaborate closely with Technology & Architecture teams to ensure solutions align with technology roadmaps, business capabilities, and strategy, and are implemented as designed.
3. Ensure effective implementation of solution and technology architecture standards, governance, and principles within Value Streams using the Etihad Architecture Frameworks and Tools.
4. Design and implement solution architecture in both agile and waterfall delivery models, supporting innovation, cost efficiency, strategy alignment, and speed to market.
5. Develop solution and technology architecture assets that align with DTI strategy and comply with the enterprise's future state architecture.
6. Develop emergent, intentional, model-driven, and context-aware solution designs that meet business requirements, strategy, standards, and principles.
7. Provide consultation to product and project teams on applying new or existing technologies to support business initiatives and innovation, promoting reuse of ideas, components, services, and patterns.
8. Define and develop solution and technology architecture value accelerators, patterns, standards, enablers, and digital transformation initiatives within Value Streams to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture.

Education & Experience

1. Minimum of 8 years of experience in complex IT architecture environments, with airline industry experience preferred.
2. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is desirable. Certification in Solution and/or Enterprise Architecture (e.g., TOGAF, SAFe Architect, Open Certified Architect, ISEB Architecture, UML, ArchiMate) is mandatory.
3. Experience in aligning business and IT, driving common approaches, and delivering sustainable, reusable solutions using both agile and waterfall methodologies.
