Job Purpose

Our Procurement & Logistics group focuses on aircraft services as well as general services. They negotiate and manage contracts with third-party suppliers and find ways to mitigate costs. Procurements and Logistics Specialist

The role involves supervising and supporting a team of procurement professionals to ensure best practices in Customer Relationship Management and Supplier Relationship Management during procurement. Responsibilities include sourcing, evaluating, and negotiating for complex and high-value commodities and services to achieve value for money at the lowest total cost of ownership, aligning with best procurement and logistics practices.

In This Role, You Will

1. Monitor Suppliers' compliance with contract terms and conditions, deliver routine attestations and reports, and ensure Emirates' compliance with contractual commitments.
2. Manage the contract library, control document access, and maintain records to establish a shared repository with suppliers.
3. Facilitate timely resolution of contractual issues, coordinate reviews with legal, finance, etc.
4. Support the implementation of strategies to deliver the lowest total cost of ownership for various commodities and services.
5. Supervise sourcing, pre-qualification, and evaluation of suppliers to recommend suitable services and products.
6. Authorize supply orders and contracts up to AED 10,000; analyze and prepare reports for higher-value contracts for managerial review.
7. Develop tender documents, facilitate cross-functional teams to produce specifications, and issue tenders to obtain competitive quotations.
8. Lead complex negotiations to ensure optimal contractual and commercial outcomes, finalize documentation, and review with management.
9. Identify and mitigate commercial risks in procurement activities.
10. Conduct feasibility studies to optimize resource utilization.
11. Implement CRM/SRM programs to enhance customer satisfaction and supplier development.
12. Review activity and performance reports to ensure operational efficiency and address areas needing intervention.

Qualifications & Experience

Candidates should have a Bachelor's Degree or Honours with 3+ years in non-aircraft procurement. International qualifications such as MCIPS, CIPS, CPP, etc., are recommended. A Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Procurement, Finance, Engineering, or an MBA is preferred.

Knowledge And Skills

Strong sourcing, evaluation, influencing, and negotiation skills. Experience in supervising major capital acquisitions and service tenders, and leading negotiations.
