About You and this Role

Liferay seeks a Sales Manager for the Middle East to drive sales, develop strategic partnerships, and lead a high-performing team. The ideal candidate excels in individual sales, team development, and market thought leadership.

Key Objectives
  1. Overall Revenue and Growth
  • Achieve and surpass ARR targets for team and individual contributions.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with company goals and market trends.
  • Manage and optimize the sales pipeline for consistent lead flow and deal progression.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts in collaboration with the team.
Leadership and Team Development

    • Set clear expectations, conduct reviews, and give constructive feedback.

    • 10-15 years in enterprise software and open source sales.
    • Experience leading sales teams.

    • Strong relationship-building and presentation skills.
    • Knowledge of portals, collaboration, content management, and emerging social technologies.
    • Understanding of consulting project cycles.
    • Fluent in Arabic and English.
