Job Summary

Perform basic installation tasks for audiovisual projects, including but not limited to pulling cable, installing connectors, mounting projects, and metal fabrication.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Perform installation tasks for audiovisual projects, including pulling cable, installing connectors, mounting projects, and metal fabrication.
  2. Read and interpret electronic schematics and architectural blueprints.
  3. Use hand and power tools to solder and crimp connectors, along with other AV system-related tasks.
  4. Assist with basic mechanical fabrication and rack wiring.
  5. Travel to various job sites as required.
  6. Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills and Abilities
  • Effectively communicate with employees, customers, and colleagues.
  • Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
  • Work and think independently to meet deadlines.
  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • Minor programming capabilities (AMX/Creston) for changes and troubleshooting.
Education and/or Experience

Formal education in Electronics or a related field is preferred.

Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Valid Driver's License and a Motor Vehicle Record that meets AVI-SPL driving privileges standards.

Working Environment

This position operates in a professional office environment and may require travel to client sites. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.

Physical Requirements

The employee must be able to lift/move up to 60 pounds, climb ladders up to 20 feet, and work in small spaces and on uneven surfaces. Frequent talking, hearing, standing, walking, reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling are required.
