Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Finance Manager at City School Holdings International in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing financial activities, preparing financial reports, monitoring budgets, analyzing financial data, and ensuring compliance with regulations.
Job responsibilities:
Leadership and Direction:
Provide strong leadership and direction to the finance and accounting team to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
Financial Strategy and Management:
Offer strategic recommendations on all aspects of financial strategy and financial management to support organizational growth and sustainability.
Financial Planning and Reporting:
Manage the processes for financial forecasting and budgets, overseeing the preparation of all financial reporting to provide accurate and timely financial information.
Financial Risk Management:
Manage financial risk and monitor fundamental financial ratios to ensure the financial health and stability of the organization.
Stakeholder Relations:
Establish and develop relationships with external partners and stakeholders, including investors, financiers, regulatory bodies, insurers, and taxation bodies.
Investor Relations:
Manage investor relations, including attracting interest from potential private equity investors or overseeing the public listing of any Group entity.
Governance and Compliance:
Ensure the Group operates effectively, efficiently, and in compliance with corporate guidelines, governance standards, and regulatory requirements.
Financial Monitoring and Reporting:
Monitor and report on the company's financials, ensuring timely submission of periodic reports and managing financial budgets with regularity and propriety.
Audit Oversight:
Oversee audit and governance arrangements to ensure propriety in the use of company resources and adherence to internal controls.
Policy Compliance and Internal Controls:
Ensure compliance with the company's policies, procedures, and codes of conduct at all times, while also overseeing all financial systems and internal controls.
Team Management and Development:
Define performance expectations and key accountabilities for all team members, facilitating their professional development and assisting in meeting improvement targets.
Ad Hoc Responsibilities:
Perform any other tasks assigned by the management to support the overall success of the organization.
