Job summary

A leading company in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Accountant to manage financial audits and reporting. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Finance and at least 5 years of relevant experience. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in accounting software are essential. This office-based role may require extended hours during peak periods.

Job description

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.

Having or started ACCA, CPA, CMA, or other relevant certification is desirable;

5 years of experience of audit and / or accounting (BIG4 experience and metal trading industry experience are good advantage).

Experience with financial audits and tax preparation. Technical & Functional Skills :

Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting;

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Xero);

Proficiency in Excel (pivot table, analytical tools, table and formulas);

Ability to analyze financial transactions and detect discrepancies. Soft Skills & Competencies :

High attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.

Ethical, responsible, and proactive approach to work. Work Environment & Conditions :
