Job description

Accountabilities
• Provide appropriate (legal) advice and guidance to employees and management on Core Ethics and Compliance Programme-related matters and implement aspects of the Etihad Anti-Fraud and Anti-Bribery & Corruption Programme. Such tasks require technical legal knowledge of amongst others globally applicable Criminal and Anti-Corruption laws and regulations, including the US FCPA and UK Bribery Act.
• Periodically revising and implementing compliance policies and procedures to ensure alignment with international best practices, including globally applicable laws and regulations.
• Implement the Compliance Risk Management Programme, which includes conducting periodic risk assessments to identify potential compliance risks and monitoring compliance risk registers requiring in-depth knowledge of the overarching Etihad Enterprise Risk methodology, Etihad s complex operational processes and globally applicable laws and regulations .
• Implement the Conflict of Interest Programme applicable to staff and Etihad s Board of Directors by coordinating with internal stakeholders to execute the Annual Conflict of Interest Declaration Cycle. Assess Conflicts of Interest of Etihad employees and contractors and provide appropriate mitigation actions..
• Manage the Gifts and Entertainment Register, resolving submissions in accordance with the Etihad G&E Policy and globally applicable anti-bribery laws and regulations,.
• Co-implement the Etihad Compliance Liaison (Integrity Partnership) Programme by independently delivering aspects of the (legal) Training, Communication and Engagement Initiatives. Manage the Integrity Partnership Communication Channels to ensure resources are consistently updated.
• Develop and deliver parts of the Training, Communication and Awareness Strategy to embed a Culture of Integrity within Etihad. This includes collaborating with relevant internal stakeholders to develop, coordinate, and deploy the Annual Code of
• Conduct Training and Specialised Training Curriculums. Contribute and independently deliver aspects of the Annual Training, Communication and Awareness Plan. Independently deliver Marhaba Induction to New Joiners.
• Monitor and Drive Compliance KPIs, which include Training, Conflicts of Interest Declaration, Integrity Score. Prepare and deliver reports at an organizational and divisional level, while proactively engaging with internal stakeholders and management to ensure timely completion of these compliance requirements.
• Coordinate and prepare shareholder Reporting Requirements, External Regulatory Audits, Quarterly Reporting Updates for the Ethics & Compliance Board, and Audit, Risk and Compliance Committees.
Education & Experience
• University degree.
• Experience with implementing an Ethics & Compliance program at another Corporate Company operating worldwide.
• At least four years work experience.
• Relevant Ethics & Compliance certification such as Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP), Certified Fraud Examiner etc. preferred.
