Job description

To help us maintain our high standards of service, we are seeking an experienced and accomplished Logistics Supervisor to drive both innovation and execution in our busy Transportation network.

Your responsibilities :

1. Operational Management: Support the overall, daily management of operational duties, deputizing for the Operations Manager when required.
2. Safety and Supervision: Prioritize and continually improve safety at the delivery station. Supervise logistics assistants, coordinators, and delivery associates to meet or exceed operational KPIs.
3. Performance Monitoring and Coaching: Monitor and coach coordinators and associates, partner with supporting departments to improve processes, and communicate expectations with delivery service providers.
4. Recruitment: Interview candidates for associate roles.
5. Workload and Administrative Oversight: Brief and monitor drivers and associates, ensure accurate completion of administrative tasks, and track performance metrics to support site performance reporting.
6. Training and Issue Resolution: Assist with training new associates and resolve process-related issues. Be prepared for physical activities such as pushing carts up to 100 pounds and lifting packages up to 15 kg.
7. Shift Flexibility and Resource Management: Work in different shifts, do overtime when needed, and resource the team effectively, including training, absence management, and performance monitoring.
