OUR EXPECTATIONS FROM THE ROLE:
Guest Experience Management: Ensure all guests are welcomed warmly and professionally. Supervise the implementation of the JW Marriott welcome experience, including offering welcome drinks or cold towels, and escort guests to their rooms or elevators.
Operational Knowledge and Training: Stay informed about daily hotel operations, including events, changes, and new procedures. Attend shift briefings, training sessions, and monthly meetings. Facilitate on-the-job training for new associates and conduct hospitality audits for front desk staff.
Front Desk Operations: Oversee check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring accuracy and adherence to brand standards. Manage room assignments and accommodate special requests. Handle reservations according to correct procedures, being flexible to business needs.
Customer Service and Communication: Maintain knowledge of hotel rates, packages, discounts, and services. Communicate effectively with guests regarding policies, procedures, and special requests using the Guest Response Program. Answer calls professionally and provide information about local attractions.
Compliance and Professionalism: Follow Marriott brand standards, safety, and emergency procedures. Maintain cleanliness and a professional appearance. Report unusual occurrences promptly.
