Job description

The Project Manager will support all Azumi Middle East locations ensuring the effective project management and delivery of new restaurant sites across all Azumi brands.

The role focuses on working in partnership to plan and execute the design and development of new restaurant projects, coordinating the new openings in the Middle East and seasonal pop-ups. You will be involved in all aspects of the project (including the liaison with internal operations) from inception to completion and handover.

Main Duties

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Identify and develop the project brief in co-operation with the executive team
  • Define overall objectives and project deliverables
  • Identify stakeholders and ensure that they are involved and consulted at crucial stages
  • Identify and manage project risks
  • Manage the tender process and the selection of the general contractor
  • Determine communication and management protocols
  • Oversee the quality of work on a construction site, making sure that building plans and specifications are being followed correctly
  • Monitors the compliance of contract requirements ensuring all conditions are satisfied before approval of the final accounts
  • Prepare a detailed, phased and logistical handover
  • Ensure transparency and ethic on all matters
  • Manage multiple projects if required

  • Ability and technical understanding to decipher construction drawings and documents
