An established industry player is seeking a Bar Manager to lead dynamic bar operations in a vibrant environment. This role involves overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and crafting an innovative beverage menu that excites guests. Key Responsibilities: • Bar Operations Management: Oversee day-to-day bar operations including drink preparation, bar setup, cleanliness, and closing procedures. • Staff Management: Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise bartenders and barbacks to ensure consistent, high-quality service. • Beverage Menu & Mixology: Develop and update the beverage menu, including cocktails, mocktails, and seasonal specials, keeping in line with current trends and customer preferences. • Customer Experience: Engage with guests, handle special requests, resolve complaints, and ensure a positive and memorable bar experience. • Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels, place orders, conduct regular inventory checks, and minimize wastage or theft. • Cost Control: Manage beverage costs, pricing strategies, and monitor profit margins while maintaining quality. • Compliance: Ensure the bar complies with hygiene, licensing, safety, and health regulations, including responsible alcohol service. • Sales & Promotions: Plan and execute bar promotions, happy hours, and special events in coordination with the marketing or restaurant team to increase footfall and revenue. • Reporting: Maintain records of sales, inventory, breakages, and staff performance; submit reports to management as required.
• Diploma or degree in Hotel Management, Bartending, or related field. • 4–6 years of experience in bar operations, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role. • In-depth knowledge of spirits, wines, beers, and modern mixology techniques. • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. • Strong leadership and staff management capabilities. • Proficiency in POS systems and basic MS Office tools. • Good organizational and multitasking abilities.
