Job description

Role:

This role sits within the Central Travel Retail Department and aims to deliver the highest level of service to Travel Retail partners, through supporting the department with accurate, consistent and thorough day-to-day account management and development of the Travel Retail business in the Middle East Region.

The individual will coordinate and support the TR Executives to ensure all operational tasks are completed in a timely manner, and with complete accuracy, whilst also driving the departments business through effective relationships with each partner.

Role Description :

  • Assist the Travel Retail team with the day-to-day management of all accounts, through communication with internal teams within the business such as Marketing, Logistics, Finance, Brand Management and IT.
  • Ensure timely deliveries to all accounts, working with Travel Retail Executives throughout order process, from creating order proposals, to item creation, through to shipment authorization.
  • Liaise with internal functions to plan market activities and produce sell-in/sell-out analysis throughout the year.
  • Manage and visit stores in the region on a regular basis, for shopfloor feedback, visual merchandising, ensuring brand standards are met, and maintaining close relationships with Category Manager's and Sales Promoters.
  • Identify future potential partners/locations, and present collections/strategies.
  • Compile proposals received from respective Brand Managers in order to ensure sign off from Travel Retail Manager.
  • Understand all required documentation for each account prior to shipment.
  • Complete customer SKU Creation Forms, Regulatory Forms and all other required data sheets.
  • Match invoices with buyer's purchase orders and ensure any discrepancies against the order and proforma are duly addressed.
  • Ensure all order confirmations are sent on a timely basis.
  • Maintain close working relationship with warehouse team to ensure orders are dispatched on time and to the correct locations.
  • Review and analyze sales and inventory levels on a regular basis to drive in-season sales on strong performing products and maximize performance.
  • Analyse and develop all sales & stock reports, ensuring reports are updated on a daily/weekly/monthly basis.
  • Prepare and develop both sell-in/sell-out reports for Ground Duty Free and Inflight sales channels.
  • Implement an efficient order / replenishment process with each customer.
  • Regularly assess stock situation at POS to ensure that inventory requirements are met (no overstock, availability of bestsellers, etc.).
  • Review outstanding units/cancellation reports and decide substitution for cancellations.
  • Propose solutions to address identified risks and issues (ageing inventory, slow movers).
  • Meet with Marketing team monthly to plan brand and account promotion plans based on monthly budgets and sales and ensure timely execution of each initiative.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED

  • 3-4 years experience in Sales Coordination, Merchandising, Operations or Account Management
  • Effective Communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Experience in Watches, Eyewear, Perfumes, Fashion or Luxury within the GCC Travel Retail industry.
  • Excellent IT skills (advanced user of Microsoft Office a must)
  • Proven experience of working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Motivated individual with ability to effectively prioritize and plan workload in accordance with strict deadlines.
  • Demonstrated commercial and operational focus, along with problem solving skills.
  • Punctual and enthusiastic
  • Team Player with exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Proven ability to increase sales and productivity within designated area
  • Must be willing and able to travel within UAE to stores and account offices
