Roles & Responsibilities

The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for managing all activities in the supply chain operations in Dubai, including procurement of materials, inventory management, warehousing, and customer service. The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader with proven experience in optimizing supply chain performance, building team capabilities, driving cost efficiencies, sourcing strategies, and developing strong supplier relationships.

Procurement
  • Create annual material procurement plans.
  • Develop 3- or 6-month procurement plans with suppliers based on company needs.
  • Sign and evaluate purchase orders prepared by the Purchasing Administration.
  • Conduct bidding and negotiations for local and imported materials.
  • Evaluate and audit suppliers' performance and conduct selection processes.
  • Ensure procurement activities comply with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001 standards, and meet KPIs.
Planning, Inventory, and Warehousing
  • Manage materials planning based on sales forecasts and production schedules to ensure raw materials and finished goods are available as needed.
  • Monitor and control stock levels of raw materials and finished goods.
  • Oversee warehousing and logistics activities to adhere to schedules and procedures.
Customer Service
  • Coordinate order receipt and delivery schedules.
  • Manage production processes related to delivery commitments.
  • Align delivery schedules with export documentation and vessel schedules.
  • Handle customer complaints and ensure follow-up with QC and Production teams.
Coordination and Support

Collaborate with the Global Procurement Manager on raw material quotas, pricing, and specifications.

Health & Safety and Management Systems
  • Ensure resources are available to establish, implement, and improve Occupational Health & Safety management systems.
  • Ensure HSE management system compliance with OHSAS standards.
  • Report HSE performance to top management for review and continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business, or related field; Master's or MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years' experience in supply chain management within manufacturing.
  • Deep understanding of end-to-end supply chain operations including demand planning, inventory, export/import compliance, procurement, and customer service.
  • Strong knowledge of Lean Six Sigma and process optimization.
  • Leadership skills, result-oriented, proactive communication, and team collaboration.
  • Agility in handling complex issues and adapting to change.
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
