Responsibilities:
- Answer the phone promptly and use the guest’s name throughout the conversation.
- Acknowledge and greet everyone entering and leaving the spa facilities.
- Maintain eye contact when addressing guests, both external and internal.
- Handle guests’ questions and concerns professionally and courteously.
- Provide accurate, appropriate, and immediate responses to all guest requests, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Schedule tours, spa day packages, treatments, and personal training sessions.
- Conduct spa tours and consultations, offering personalized advice and promoting facilities, treatments, and products.
- Sell gift vouchers and handle their redemption.
- Provide pre- and post-treatment advice when booking appointments and inform clients of contraindications.
- Schedule bookings according to standards and ensure all new clients complete a spa consultation card, updating records in the Book4Time system.
- Maintain cleanliness of spa reception areas and ensure equipment is serviced regularly as part of preventative maintenance.
- Achieve retail sales targets and process bill payments and receipts accurately.
- Exemplify personalized service, maintain a positive attitude, and demonstrate professionalism.
- Assist with spa promotions and events, and ensure displays are regularly updated.
Qualifications:
- One to two years of experience in a public contact role, preferably within an upscale or lifestyle hotel environment.
- Proficiency in using computers and point of sale systems to enter and locate work-related information.
- Gracious, friendly, and engaging demeanor.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, fostering teamwork and positive relationships with colleagues and departments.
