Job Summary

The Welder is expected to multitask across various manufacturing welding processes, including but not limited to TIG/MIG Welding, Hardfacing, and Brazing. Some manual grinding expertise may be required, such as holesizing operations and hot work using oxy/acetylene equipment. The candidate should have experience in manufacturing products and components to specifications and prints using a variety of equipment.

Responsibilities, Accountabilities & Authority

• Experienced with various metal welding processes
• Able to read technical drawings and engineering specifications
• Knowledge in using standard measuring instruments and inspection techniques
• Assembling components according to engineering drawings and set procedures
• Making setups and adjustments to ensure proper alignment of parts
• Lifting, positioning, and securing workpieces as needed to turn or balance
• Ensuring setups are approved by a senior operator or supervisor before proceeding with production welding
• Performing operator-level machine maintenance
• Performing daily cleaning of the assigned area
• Adhering to NOV regulations and all QHSE requirements
• Flexibility to move to other operations, shifts, or weekends as required

Experience

• Previous operating experience in production or fabrication environments is advantageous
• Ability to read and understand manufacturing drawings, schematics, and shop practices
