Job Description

• Review the submitted programs from the contractors and give comments/consent.
• Review the submitted update weekly progress reports and give comments/consent.
• Monitor the progress and give advice to the contractor for the required corrective actions if required.
• Review the submitted claim from the contractors for EOT and give comments/consent and recommendations.
• Daily Progress Reports: Update information about the progress of activities at site, including manpower and material.
• Weekly and Monthly Progress Reports: Monitor the percentages completed (Actual vs Planned) and any unresolved issues the Contractor has.
• Site Visits: Monitor activities and have a visual idea about ongoing work at site.
• Progress, Coordination, Special, Upper Management Meetings: Focus on scope, time, and money; obtain client approval for any changes to contractually agreed data.
• Read and understand Contract Documents; Specifications, drawings, and BOQs.
• Review the Approved Program of Works regularly.
• Keep track of Long Lead items across five sections: Material submittals, Shop drawings, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning and Handing Over.
• Attend the kick-off meeting.
• Participate in the project planning efforts.
• Complete reporting to the client; daily, weekly, and monthly.
• Highlight weaknesses at site.
• Verify all reports submitted by the Contractors.
• Maintain a Master Schedule for the client.
• Prepare presentations.
• Include all changes to the scope and variation work requested by the Client or the Contractor.
• Participate in the project closing out process.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Professional certification in Project Management (PMP) or equivalent.
• 10-15 years of experience in project planning and execution in a consultancy company.
• Experience in the Construction industry is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
