Job Title: Business Development Manager Events & Scaffolding Services

Location: Dubai

Reports To: Managing Director

Department: Business Development / Sales

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Development Manager to lead our growth strategy within the event services sector, focusing on temporary structures and scaffolding solutions. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of event logistics and temporary infrastructure (such as staging, scaffolding, platforms, etc.), along with a strong network within the events industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Client Acquisition & Lead Generation: Identify, target, and acquire new clients in the event management, exhibitions, and entertainment sectors requiring scaffolding and temporary structure solutions.
  2. Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with event organizers, production companies, contractors, and corporate clients to secure repeat business.
  3. Proposal & Tender Preparation: Prepare and present compelling proposals, bids, and quotes tailored to client requirements.
  4. Strategic Partnerships: Collaborate with engineering, design, and operations teams to offer customized and compliant scaffold-based solutions for events and temporary installations.
  5. Market Analysis: Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands to identify new business opportunities and areas for service expansion.
  6. Revenue Growth: Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs by driving revenue growth through new and existing accounts.
  7. Project Coordination (Pre-Sales): Liaise with project managers and site supervisors during the planning phase to ensure feasibility and accuracy of offers.
  8. Event Services: Experience in staging (indoor & outdoor), corporate events, LED & sound support structures, backdrops, archways, and crowd control management.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Proven experience in business development, preferably in events, scaffolding, or temporary infrastructure services.
  • Solid understanding of scaffolding systems and their applications in event settings.
  • Strong network in the events, entertainment, or exhibitions sectors.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage complex sales cycles and technical consultations.
  • A degree in Engineering, Event Management, or a related field is a plus.
