Job description

Based at the Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental, Abu Dhabi within the Club Lounge Department, the Club Lounge F&B Service Attendant is responsible for exceeding guest expectations by providing efficient and courteous service, guest relations, and excellent food and beverage service in accordance with Legendary Quality Experiences. The Club Lounge F&B Service Attendant reports to the Club Lounge Manager.

As a Club Lounge F&B Service Attendant, your responsibilities include:

  1. Maximizing guest loyalty and satisfaction through daily operations.
  2. Implementing and maintaining Legendary Quality Experience (LQE) standards to meet and exceed guest expectations.
  3. Providing wine and dining recommendations.
  4. Ensuring beverage and self-service stations are well-stocked and maintained.
  5. Maintaining cleanliness and neatness of the Mandarin Club Lounge.
  6. Setting up the breakfast buffet and preparing the lounge for breakfast service.
  7. Seating guests and delivering excellent service during breakfast and drinks.
  8. Setting up and replenishing buffets as needed.
  9. Clearing and resetting tables.
  10. Preparing and serving drinks and cocktails.
  11. Keeping the pantry and lounge in optimal condition.
  12. Cleaning operating equipment when no steward is present in the afternoon/evening.
  13. Serving welcome drinks upon guest check-in.
  14. Managing buffet set-ups and returning leftovers after service.
  15. Counting operating equipment.
  16. Collecting orders from the storeroom.
  17. Preparing operating equipment daily for service.

As a Club Lounge Executive, we expect you to:

  • Have previous experience in a similar role in a luxury hotel or resort.
  • Be fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Possess initiative and strong customer service skills.
  • Have relevant F&B experience in hotels or restaurants.
  • Enjoy engaging with guests and meeting new people.
  • Demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills, and be a team player.
  • Be dynamic and energetic.
