ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

Under the guidance of AV Supervisor and within the limits of the established Rixos Hotels policies and Operational Standards Manual, responsibilities include providing efficient, personalized, courteous, and punctual service with technical skill. Work with a team spirit to ensure all AV equipment is in good condition.

MANDATORY (ISO IMS COMPLIANCE)

All employees are responsible for adhering to the established ISO Integrated Management System, including Quality, LQA, Environment, Health, Safety & Risk Management policies, procedures, manuals, SOPs, and other legal requirements.

Participation in the risk management program, environmental impact assessments, pollution prevention, energy and water saving initiatives, and continual improvement plans is strongly encouraged.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE :

Education: Diploma or Certificate in Electrical or Audio Visual fields.

Experience: Minimum 2-3 years in a similar role.

Other: Must have good communication skills in English.

WHAT WE EXPECT OF YOU :

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Ensure all AV equipment is clean and properly maintained.
• Install, set up, and configure audio-visual equipment such as projectors, microphones, sound systems, lighting, video monitors, cameras, and video conferencing systems.
• Ensure all equipment is connected and functional before events or presentations.
• Operate and control AV systems during events, ensuring high-quality sound and visuals.
• Manage live audio mixing, video switching, and lighting during events.
• Perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues with AV systems.
• Repair or coordinate repairs for faulty equipment.
• Provide technical support to event organizers, presenters, and users of AV equipment.
• Assist with setup and operation during live events to ensure smooth delivery.
• Collaborate with event coordinators, IT teams, and other stakeholders to meet event needs.
• Manage the inventory of AV equipment and maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance.
• Document setup configurations, operational procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
• Be familiar with recreation facilities, evening programs, and show timings.
• Manage sound checks for bands or singers, stage setup, and rider requirements.
