Sales Director (Technical & Modular Buildings)

We are currently hiring for a global provider of modular buildings and equipment solutions for critical industries such as oil and gas, utilities, petrochemicals, power, renewables, government, and defense.

Sales Director – Technical & Modular Buildings

Location : Based in Dubai, UAE, with regular international travel.

Purpose of the Role :

The Sales Director will lead the growth of the Technical & Modular Buildings segment, establishing the company as a market leader and preferred supplier of engineered modular building solutions, including onsite support, refurbishment, and facilities management services.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Achieve or exceed revenue and EBITDA targets across product categories.
  • Build and lead a high-performing sales team and agent network to secure contracts in key industries and regions.
  • Analyze market trends and the competitive landscape to identify business opportunities and diversification strategies.
  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to increase awareness of the company's capabilities in target markets.
  • Maintain senior relationships within key accounts to maximize market share and profitability.
  • Create and implement a strategic business plan with leadership to drive revenue growth.
  • Develop early-stage relationships with potential clients for medium- to long-term projects.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and affiliates to leverage cross-selling and up-selling opportunities globally.
  • Expand into new geographies and business streams within the energy sector, aligning with organizational goals.
  • Drive expansion into offshore / onshore renovation and outfitting for greenfield and brownfield projects.
  • Grow the spare parts and aftersales business with a focus on upselling and profitability.

QHSE Responsibilities :

  • Contribute to and uphold company QHSE standards.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, health, environmental, and quality policies in sales and marketing activities.
  • Promote a risk-based, process-driven approach for continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
  • Support a safety, compliance, and accountability culture throughout the department.

Candidate Profile :

Education & Experience :

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Engineering.
  • 15+ years of international business development experience, especially in Oil & Gas.

Technical Skills :

  • Proven leadership in managing sales teams.
  • Strong commercial acumen and service orientation.
  • Experience in business planning, sales strategy, and marketing execution.
  • Proficient in English and computer literacy.

  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Team player with resilience under pressure.
