Job Description

• Architecting and developing complete e-commerce websites with secure payment gateway integration and product management systems.
• Building dynamic websites with Content Management Systems (CMS) like WordPress, including custom theme and plugin development.
• Developing responsive and user-friendly front-end interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Implementing and managing database structures to support website functionality and data storage.
• Troubleshooting and resolving website issues, ensuring optimal performance and uptime.
• Collaborating with designers, content creators, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality web solutions.
• Keeping up-to-date with the latest web development trends and technologies to implement best practices.

The Successful Applicant

• At least 5 years of professional experience in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of core front-end languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and their application in creating interactive interfaces.
• Experience working with at least one popular CMS platform (preferably WordPress).
• Basic understanding of back-end development principles with exposure to server-side languages such as PHP, Python, Node.js, or similar.
• Familiarity with database concepts and experience with systems like MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Experience in building and integrating APIs for data exchange and third-party services.
• Understanding of responsive design principles for various screen sizes.
• Portfolio or examples of successful e-commerce or dynamic websites developed.
• Familiarity with Sitecore (advantageous).
