Role Description

We are looking for an experienced and skilled Chiller Technician to join our team at Chiller Care General Maintenance L.L.C.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of water-cooled and air-cooled chillers, especially brands like Trane, York, Carrier, Daikin, Hitachi, and Rhoss.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out preventive maintenance and breakdown repairs for air-cooled and water-cooled chillers.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues in screw and reciprocating compressors, control panels, and chiller components.
• Perform overhauling works for compressors (including dismantling, inspection, parts replacement, reassembly).
• Conduct leak detection, refrigerant recovery, vacuuming, and refrigerant charging procedures.
• Replace electrical and mechanical parts such as sensors, coils, expansion valves, and compressors.
• Carry out chiller control wiring and basic programming (preferred but not mandatory).
• Prepare basic service reports after job completion.
• Follow safety protocols and company procedures during site work.
• Assist in chiller retrofits and upgrade projects when required.
• Coordinate with supervisors and team members to ensure timely completion of jobs.

Requirements:

• Minimum 35 years of hands-on experience in chiller maintenance and repairs.
• Diploma or technical certification in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of major chiller brands: Trane, York, Carrier, etc.
• Familiar with screw and reciprocating compressors.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• UAE driving license
• Good communication skills in English (basic).
• Currently available in the UAE for immediate joining (preferred)

Qualifications

Diploma or Technical Certificate in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (HVAC) or Mechanical Engineering.

Minimum 35 years of proven experience working with air-cooled and water-cooled chillers.

Good technical knowledge of major chiller brands (Trane, York, Carrier, Daikin, Hitachi, Rhoss, etc.).

Strong understanding of refrigeration cycles, electrical troubleshooting, and mechanical repairs.

Experience in compressor overhauling (screw and reciprocating types) is an advantage.

Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and service manuals.

Basic knowledge of chiller controls and BMS systems (advantageous but not mandatory).

UAE experience is preferred.

UAE driving license is an added advantage.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Physically fit and able to work in outdoor environments.
