Job Description
  1. Carry out measurements as per the relevant standard method of measurement under the Main Contract where applicable.
  2. Prepare relevant summaries of the quantity takeoff for major material ordering, Variations, contra charges, etc.
  3. Ensure measurements are prepared in a traceable manner and updated at every stage of the project when required.
  4. Prepare subcontractors' payment certificates in accordance with the subcontract agreement and compare them with the progress certification received under the main contract.
  5. Prepare backup calculations and supporting drawings for Variations under the main contract and assist Senior Quantity Surveyor (Sr. QS) in finalizing the submission of Variations/Proposals to the consultant.
  6. Assist Sr. QS in evaluating work progress for the monthly payment application to the consultant.
  7. Assist Sr. QS in evaluating Variations in relation to the main contract and subcontract as needed.
  8. Draft appropriate correspondence, notifications, and entitlements regarding various contractual matters.
  9. Prepare and update the subcontract payment certificate tracking sheet as per project requirements.
  10. Develop proper documentation procedures to track and trace all project-related correspondence concerning commercial and contractual matters.
