Job Responsibilities

1. Ensure implementation and maintenance procedures for controlling all project interface documents.
2. Develop, update, and apply the Interface Management procedure and Project Interface standard matrix.
3. Organize and participate in project meetings.
4. Provide engineering advice, assessments, and recommendations to ensure project delivery within time, budget, and quality standards, while adhering to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
5. Advise on engineering strategies, risk levels, and commercial agreements to identify cost-effective technical solutions and understand associated risks.
6. Document all assessments, advice, and recommendations following internal procedures and industry best practices, ensuring sufficient technical and commercial due diligence.
7. Lead project team members, including employees in the UAE and other regions.
8. Deliver high-quality, cost-effective engineering advice.
9. Ensure design compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements and legislation.
10. Stay updated on technical and commercial developments to identify new technologies that could reduce costs, risks, or improve safety.
11. Implement offshore standards, procedures, tools, and quality requirements to ensure project delivery according to specifications, budget, and schedule without compromising safety.
12. Capture and share lessons learned across offshore project work packages, collaborating with the Lead/Principal Engineer to enhance business value.

Skills and Experience

• Experience with offshore platforms, compressors, machinery, and structures.
• Multidisciplinary engineering experience in international environments.
• Significant offshore industry experience, with ADNOC experience preferred.
• Experience with health, safety, and environmental legislation related to offshore projects.
• Strong future planning skills.
• Proven track record in delivering large packages.
• Relationship management skills and confidence working with senior management.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, report writing, and presentation skills.
• Ability to analyze, anticipate problems, and implement solutions.
• Proven ability to provide accurate and timely advice to project teams.
• Experience in offshore/oil and gas fields.
• Knowledge of engineering procedures, standards, and guidance.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.
• Good initiative, ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university.
• Experience with execution of Oil & Gas/ Petrochemical industry contracts.
• At least 5 years in a Project or Engineering Manager role.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
