Job Responsibilities
- Ensure implementation and maintenance procedures for controlling all project interface documents.
- Develop, update, and apply the Interface Management procedure and Project Interface standard matrix.
- Organize and participate in project meetings.
- Provide engineering advice, assessments, and recommendations to ensure project delivery within time, budget, and quality standards, while adhering to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Advise on engineering strategies, risk levels, and commercial agreements to identify cost-effective technical solutions and understand associated risks.
- Document all assessments, advice, and recommendations following internal procedures and industry best practices, ensuring sufficient technical and commercial due diligence.
- Lead project team members, including employees in the UAE and other regions.
- Deliver high-quality, cost-effective engineering advice.
- Ensure design compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements and legislation.
- Stay updated on technical and commercial developments to identify new technologies that could reduce costs, risks, or improve safety.
- Implement offshore standards, procedures, tools, and quality requirements to ensure project delivery according to specifications, budget, and schedule without compromising safety.
- Capture and share lessons learned across offshore project work packages, collaborating with the Lead/Principal Engineer to enhance business value.
Skills and Experience
- Experience with offshore platforms, compressors, machinery, and structures.
- Multidisciplinary engineering experience in international environments.
- Significant offshore industry experience, with ADNOC experience preferred.
- Experience with health, safety, and environmental legislation related to offshore projects.
- Strong future planning skills.
- Proven track record in delivering large packages.
- Relationship management skills and confidence working with senior management.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, report writing, and presentation skills.
- Ability to analyze, anticipate problems, and implement solutions.
- Proven ability to provide accurate and timely advice to project teams.
- Experience in offshore/oil and gas fields.
- Knowledge of engineering procedures, standards, and guidance.
- Ability to work independently and in teams.
- Good initiative, ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university.
- Experience with execution of Oil & Gas/ Petrochemical industry contracts.
- At least 5 years in a Project or Engineering Manager role.
- Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
