Our client is seeking an experienced and visionary Head of Planning and Strategy to lead their Digital Retail Media initiatives. This senior leadership position will be responsible for developing comprehensive strategies across major retail media platforms, managing substantial advertising budgets, and driving measurable business outcomes through innovative approaches to retail media.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning & Execution

  • Develop and implement comprehensive digital retail media strategies across major platforms
  • Establish clear KPIs and performance benchmarks for all initiatives
  • Driving innovation in retail media approaches to maintain competitive advantage

Performance Analysis & Optimization

  • Analyze conversion rates, click-through rates, and A/B testing results
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis
  • Continuously optimize campaigns to improve performance metrics

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with marketing, sales, and product teams to align strategies
  • Negotiate favorable contracts with retail media partners
  • Present strategic recommendations to senior leadership

Key Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, or related field required
  • Master's degree (MBA or MS in Marketing) strongly preferred
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in digital retail media strategy and planning
  • Proven track record of driving ROI and achieving business goals in retail media

Technical Knowledge

  • Deep understanding of major retail media platforms
