Job description

Position Overview:

Sales Manager – Jordan is a leadership role responsible for driving sales growth and market expansion across Jordan.

The position requires a dynamic and experienced sales leader who can manage and organize Distributors and key channels, fostering strong relationships with internal teams and external partners. Emphasis on leadership, people management, and strategic planning is essential.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies for Midea Group Brands in Jordan (Home Appliances, SDA, and HVAC).
  2. Plan and execute functional strategies and goals aligned with the company strategy and objectives. Establish and implement short- and long-term goals with Channel Partners and Key accounts.
  3. Oversee sales operations across Midea Group brands, modern market channels, e-commerce, IR, and OR Trade Business.
  4. Identify new business opportunities and market trends to drive growth.
  5. Prepare quarterly sales forecasts, ensure reliability and timely submission, and maintain accuracy of reports. Set and achieve sales targets with distributors, aligning with overall business objectives.
  6. Ensure market penetration and brand visibility across all channels. Maintain close customer relationships to understand client needs.
  7. Manage account receivables and overdue payments with Distributors and Channel Partners.
  8. Plan and implement sellout activities, GTM strategies, and channel stock management. Collaborate with teams in Dubai HQ to move overstocked or slow-moving inventory.
  9. Ensure implementation of sellout activities, timely execution of plans, and proper submission and management of approvals and claims.
  10. Manage budgets by key account or distribution channel as needed. Monitor processes for improvement. Negotiate and manage contracts to ensure favorable terms.
  11. Address and resolve issues or conflicts with stakeholders.
  12. Collaborate with Commercial, Marketing, and Product Development teams to support sales and product improvement initiatives.
  13. Track and analyze sales performance metrics. Prepare reports and presentations regularly.
  14. Implement corrective actions to address performance gaps.
  15. Understand customer needs and preferences. Analyze customer behavior, market trends, and competitive intelligence; share insights and collaborate across departments to drive growth.
