Planning Engineer

We are recruiting a Project Engineer for one of our clients based in Dubai, UAE.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop comprehensive construction schedules using tools like Primavera P6, MS Project, or equivalent.
• Break down the project into phases and activities.
• Ensure alignment of the construction schedule with project objectives, design deliverables, and resource availability.
• Plan and allocate resources (labor, materials, equipment) efficiently to meet project deadlines.
• Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
• Monitor construction progress against the baseline schedule and identify deviations.
• Prepare regular progress reports including critical path analysis, delays, and mitigation strategies.
• Identify potential risks and delays in the construction process.
• Work closely with project managers, architects, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure seamless execution.
• Assist in budget preparation and cost estimation for construction activities.

• Education: A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is required. A Master's degree is an advantage.
• Experience: A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in construction planning, ideally for high-rise buildings ranging from 16 to 20 floors.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management tools such as Primavera P6 and MS Project.
• Expertise: In-depth understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and processes.
• Certifications: PMP, PMI-SP, or equivalent certifications are highly preferred.
