JOB PURPOSE
Responsible for preparing and reviewing job descriptions and ensuring the evaluation process for all jobs in RTA.
KEY RESULTS ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Prepare and implement a plan to review job descriptions and evaluate jobs at the authority level on a periodic basis
- Preparing and reviewing job descriptions in coordination with the concerned departments, reviewing them and ensuring that they are updated and that job titles are updated in accordance with the annual review plan and developments in jobs and organizational structures
- Study the necessary knowledge, skills and experience requirements for each job based on specific inputs and in accordance with applicable policies
- Ensure the completion of all job analyses and evaluate and re-evaluate the job according to the agreed upon service levels
- Engineering the functions of the Roads and Transport Authority in accordance with best practices and continuously aligning them with the needs of the Authority, its strategic plans, and the operational plans of the organizational units in the Authority
- Conduct and review the job evaluation process in coordination with the Dubai Government Human Resources Department
- Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual reports with performance indicators related to job descriptions, evaluating and analyzing jobs, and identifying opportunities for improvement and the most important recommendations for the department director and the department director
- Ensuring compliance with human resources legislation issued by the Dubai Government Human Resources Department or the Authority’s internal policies related to job descriptions and evaluation processes
- Perform other job-related tasks and responsibilities as assigned
- Providing support in the committees and teams related to the work of the Talent Planning and Attraction Department formed at the authority level
- Preparing and developing the general framework of behavioral and technical competencies for current and future jobs and continuously aligning them with the Authority’s needs and the individual goals of the Authority’s employees
- Review and develop the Authority’s methodology, policies, processes, procedures and systems for making job descriptions and evaluating jobs and competencies in accordance with best practices
- Review and develop the classification of jobs and job groups for all organizational units in the Authority
- Preparing and developing a study of future functions and competencies for the Roads and Transport Authority
- Measure and analyze the results of performance indicators related to the process of job descriptions and job evaluation and prepare periodic reports thereon
- Designing internal and external advertisements for job vacancies on the Authority’s website and other platforms
- Managing, designing and implementing projects and initiatives related to job descriptions and evaluating jobs and competencies according to the project management policy approved by the Authority, and submitting periodic reports on the progress of work therein
- Preparing studies and analytical reports for job description procedures, job evaluation, and identifying and implementing continuous development opportunities
