What You'll Do:
Job Purpose
To provide support to the sales executives in a professional manner between point of sale and handover ensuring customer satisfaction at all times. To provide support to the Sales Executives in the Sales follow up process and maintaining contact with sales leads in a professional way.
Accountabilities
Customer Focus
- To maintain contact with Sales Leads professionally on a short, mid and long term basis with the objective of converting back to a face to face appointment/test drive with the original Sales Executive, along the way keeping them updated with any new product information or offers.
- To ensure the process between point of sale and handover is completed correctly and in line with customer’s timescales.
- To follow up leads from all Marketing activity/product launch databases as defined by the Sales & Marketing Managers with the objective of booking face to face appointments/test drives for the Sales Executives.
- To provide support to sales executives in regards to factory or exclusive orders on the Volkswagen configurator as defined by the customer.
Operational
- To ensure all vehicles are handed over to the Sales Executive in full working order, clean and at least two hours prior to agreed time of delivery with customer.
- To co-ordinate and manage customer handover delivery point.
- To provide back up support to Customer Liaison Advisors as required and be the customer champion and deliver exceptional customer service by ensuring a seamless experience for the customer
- To co-ordinate all necessary documentation and processes between the Sales department and customers for the delivery of new vehicles in line with ISO requirements.
- To co-ordinate the demo fleet booking schedule ensuring all vehicles are clean, in full working order and with the required fuel at all times.
- Attend regular staff meetings using them as a basis for the communication of any ideas for improvement in processes or cost savings.
- To co-ordinate all training bookings for Sales Executives.
Personal Development
- Maintain and develop own skills and technical knowledge through a development plan agreed with the line manager.
- Attend an annual appraisal in line with the company policy and procedures.
Other Responsibilities
- Responsible for Volkswagen Quality management and currently applicable ISO certification requirements, implementation and follow up with input and guidance through Projects department.
