Client Management

Manages the relationship with an assigned portfolio of Cigna Insurance Middle East (CIME) clients, ensuring the performance of each policy meets agreed service levels and customer satisfaction. Develops and delivers strategic plans for corporate clients and provides proactive advice to clients and brokers to renew policies, aiming for business retention and profitability.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with existing clients to meet their needs and serve as an ambassador for Cigna.
  • Develop strong relationships with intermediaries retained by Cigna clients to ensure ongoing support.
  • Coordinate with underwriters and other teams to create attractive renewal proposals that maintain or enhance Cigna's profitability.
  • Identify cross-selling opportunities and other avenues to expand business within the existing client base.
  • Present proposals for existing and new business to clients and intermediaries to sustain and grow relationships.
  • Collaborate with Legal Services and Marketing to produce high-quality client materials.
  • Engage in personal development to enhance knowledge, experience, and sales skills.
  • Provide feedback on client and market insights to relevant teams.
  • Support the development of Cigna's product offerings.
  • Reinstall schemes at renewal professionally to ensure smooth administration.
  • Coordinate with Customer Services and Healthcare Services to ensure excellent client service and rapid resolution of issues.
  • Additional responsibilities include contract adherence, invoicing, securing references, managing forecasts, and utilizing products to add value, while adhering to internal policies and providing timely management information.

Experience / Skills

  • Minimum 4 years in a health insurance management environment.
  • Fluent in English; excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with Middle East market insurers and policies is preferred.
  • Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and confidently.
  • Proven public speaking and presentation skills.
  • Results-driven with the ability to manage multiple clients and projects independently.
  • Strong relationship-building, influencing, and negotiating skills.
  • Passion for health, wellbeing, and customer-centricity; previous experience in health and wellbeing is a plus.
  • Ability to work with diverse cultures and effective selling and positioning skills.
  • Detail-oriented and capable of multitasking in a self-directed manner.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, ideally in Marketing or Business.
  • Knowledge of Agile Project Management is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication, listening, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to resolve complex claims and problems efficiently.
  • Highly organized, multitasking, and able to work independently.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and technology-savvy.
