Job description

The purpose of this role is to ensure the successful delivery of LCS projects in terms of scope clarification, consultation during each project phase, project planning, onsite execution, reclamation management, and project closure.

Your Tasks

• Maintain customer satisfaction by proactively addressing queries and managing urgent issues with high priority.
• Liaise extensively with internal teams (sales, dispatching, engineering, purchasing, finance) to ensure trouble-free project execution according to established work practices and procedures.
• Communicate with customers to initiate new LCS orders, monitor spare parts and change parts deliveries, and plan technician onsite visits.
• Lead installation and commissioning of complex LCS projects directly at customer sites.
• Develop the LCS business portfolio by understanding customer and market requirements and identifying new opportunities.
• Follow up on pre-sales projects, revise budget quotations, and finalize hot projects with customers to meet sales targets alongside the Head of LCS.
• Coordinate with headquarters teams in Germany for additional support and clarification.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously without compromising quality, timeline, or budget.
• Handle all delegated LCS projects across the MENA region, including travel to customer sites as required.
• Participate in internal process improvement activities and share lessons learned from customer sites.

Your Profile

• Degree in engineering, project management, or equivalent; PMP certification preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of confirmed experience in project management.
• Experience managing complex projects, new machine installations, and line relocations.
• Technical knowledge of packaging machinery; experience with Krones equipment is preferred.
• Working experience in Libya and Saudi Arabia.
• Knowledge of the beverage and/or packaging machinery market.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong listening and negotiation abilities.
• Fluency in English and Arabic is required.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office and SAP.
• Ability to work with diverse cultures and as a team player.
• Integrity, reliability, maturity, and strong relationship-building skills.
• Strong analytical and technical skills with persuasive ability.
• No obstacles to travel up to 30% for business purposes.
• Knowledge of project management tools such as Salesforce, Monday.com, Jira, Confluence, Wrike, etc., is preferred.
