Job Responsibilities
- Identify opportunities and gather referrals for Investment and Insurance (I&I) sales within the BB Team (BDOs/RMs). Present the value of I&I products to BB clients and profile each customer to understand their needs.
- Promote I&I business and generate FER through the BB portfolio by cross-selling wealth products.
- Educate and present I&I ideas, opportunities, and need analysis to the BB Team to generate referrals.
- Support the primary fulfillment point for customer cross-sell for all I&I products in Business Banking, managing end-to-end sales and service.
- Upsell, cross-sell, and provide regular market updates and trend analysis to clients, ensuring superior customer service to enhance the overall experience.
- Own customer complaints related to Insurance and coordinate with relevant teams for resolution.
Additional Responsibilities
Contribute as a team player to achieve goals based on KPIs. Provide constructive feedback to improve I&I products, services, and processes, aiming to reduce cycle time, costs, or enhance customer satisfaction. Minimize insurance attrition.
Operating Environment & Working Relationships
- Collaborate with the I&I Proposition Team to understand products, markets, and opportunities.
- Interact directly with the I&I department, back office, and teams such as CCAM, DBC, RCO, TCM, TOC, Legal, and Compliance.
Problem Solving
- Be proficient with CPRA (Client Profiling and Risk Analysis) to understand clients' profiles, needs, and risks.
- Possess specialized knowledge of all investment & insurance products at Mashreq.
- Work with BB teams to generate referrals for I&I needs.
- Achieve set FER (revenue) targets and cross-sell other products.
- Stay informed on global economic scenarios, investment vehicles, and financial markets; conduct competitive analysis and provide market feedback.
Decision-Making & Responsibilities
- Generate all Investment/Insurance FER from the Business Banking channel.
- Handle end-to-end sales and service for all I&I products in Business Banking.
- Collaborate with business and I&I teams to increase wealth product penetration.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Strong communication, profiling, presentation, and analytical skills. Interpersonal skills and team orientation, with coaching abilities.
- Knowledge of global economic scenarios and various investment and financial markets.
- Graduate with 6-8 years of experience in wealth management, preferably in the UAE. Certification requirements include SCA, UAE R&R, CISI Investment, CII, Shariah Certifications, and Bancassurance product training.
