Job summary

The entity primarily engages in the buy-sell of IMI Critical Engineering's products, including installation, maintenance, and services in the Middle East and Africa markets.

Location :

Jebel Ali Free Zone, Dubai

Job Purpose :

To maintain and manage end-to-end bookkeeping for the company as per IFRS, and coordinate with auditors to ensure timely and unqualified audits.

Key Responsibilities :
  1. Financial bookkeeping including AR, AP, Fixed Assets, and Journals as per IFRS.
  2. Corporate treasury management, banking relations, and hedging.
  3. Month-end closing activities such as revenue and expense accounting, liabilities provisioning, depreciation, and report analysis.
  4. Preparation of financial statements and coordination with auditors to ensure timely closure.
  5. Managing regulatory requirements for Dubai Free Trade Zone (Jafza).
  6. Understanding UAE VAT regulations, including tax return submissions and audits.
  7. Knowledge of financial instruments like Letters of Credit, Bill Discounting, Guarantees, Bonds, and CAD requirements.
  8. Proficiency in SAP, Tally ERP, MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other MS Office tools.
Essential Requirements :

Qualifications : ACCA / CA / CPA / Master's in Finance and Accounts.

Experience : 5-6 years post-qualification in MNCs (B2B trading, O&G, or Valve trading) in UAE. Experience in Dubai Free Zone/Jafza is advantageous.

Personal Attributes include being self-driven, assertive, entrepreneurial, resourceful, capable of working independently and in teams, and establishing impactful relationships. Ability to collaborate, detail-oriented, with a strong sense of urgency and multi-tasking skills. Ownership and accountability are essential.

Language skills in English and Hindi, with excellent communication abilities.
