What You'll Be Doing

• Design and implement robust integration solutions using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. Translate complex business requirements into scalable, well-architected MuleSoft applications.
• Champion secure development practices. Design APIs with security at their core.
• Develop and maintain high-quality, testable code. Write clean and maintainable code according to industry standards and company style guides.
• Collaborate effectively with a cross-functional team. Communicate technical solutions to stakeholders, and proactively seek input to enhance project outcomes.
• Contribute to a culture of engineering excellence. Participate in code reviews, drive continuous improvement in development practices, and share knowledge with the team.
• Stay ahead in the integration landscape. Explore and advocate for the adoption of new MuleSoft features and best practices to drive innovation.
• Demonstrate project ownership. Manage projects effectively from start to finish, driving accountability and delivering against project milestones.

What You'll Need To Succeed

• Integration Development: 4+ years of software development experience with strong MuleSoft expertise (Mule 3 and Mule 4).
• Translating Business Needs: Ability to design integration solutions that align with business requirements.
• API & Messaging Mastery: Proficient in API design, security, third-party integrations, and messaging systems.
• CI / CD & Delivery: Experience with CI / CD pipelines and proactive risk mitigation within the development lifecycle.
• Good Communication Skills: Ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner, both verbally and in writing.
• Retail Industry Knowledge (Plus): Familiarity with common retail business processes, data flows, and technology systems.
• Growth Mindset: Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with integration technologies.
• AWS Advantage: Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) is a significant plus.
