Job description

AED 20,000 PCM + Annual ticket & health insurance + generous commission structure

Our client is one of the largest and most diversified business conglomerates in the United Arab Emirates. Its main interests are in Construction, Education, Information Technology, Real Estate, Shopping & Retail, Sports & Leisure, and Services. With a strong presence throughout the region and projects/centres of operation in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Dubai & Sharjah, they employ over 2000 people.

As part of their planned strategy to increase their presence in the commercial construction sector, they now seek to employ a new Business Development Manager, a pivotal role of great importance to the company’s planned growth.

This is a busy, hands-on role. Your duties will include:

  1. Identification and qualification of new clients within the construction industry
  2. Presentation and selling of construction services effectively
  3. Maintaining excellent long-term relationships with various parties, including owners’ representatives, architects, interior designers, and internal departments
  4. Presentation and negotiation of contracts
  5. Keeping the client informed of project progress and conducting reviews upon project completion
  6. Negotiating contractual adaptations or extensions when needed
  7. Staying updated on new trends and opportunities within the construction market sector
  8. Involvement in preparing marketing collateral and website content

  • English - Fluent / Excellent

Job Skills and Qualifications:

  • Complete fluency in English, both written and spoken. Candidates who also speak Arabic are particularly encouraged to apply.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Marketing, or Business.
  • 5-7 years of business development experience within the construction and/or engineering industry, gained locally.
  • Strong customer relationship-building skills, including local contacts.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
