About the role
The Sales Manager - Controls - UAE is responsible for overseeing and managing sales for Controls & BMS within the UAE market. The SM-Controls will develop and implement sales strategies, manage a sales team, and ensure the achievement of sales targets and growth objectives. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, excellent communication skills, and a strong knowledge of BMS and HVAC Controls Systems and Solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
As a (specify role), you will be responsible for:
Sales Strategy and Planning:
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets.
Analyze market trends and competitors to identify growth opportunities.
Prepare annual sales forecasts.
Team Management:
Lead, train, and manage a team of sales engineers.
Set performance objectives, conduct regular reviews, and provide coaching and development opportunities.
Foster a collaborative and motivated team environment.
Customer Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
Address customer concerns and provide solutions to enhance satisfaction.
Identify and pursue new Controls & BMS business opportunities within UAE.
Sales Operations:
Monitor monthly sales activities and performance metrics to ensure targets are met.
Prepare regular sales reports, manage the order pipeline, and present findings to senior management.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Market Expansion:
Identify and explore new markets and channels in UAE for Controls & BMS growth.
Develop and execute plans to expand the company's presence in the UAE market.
Coordinate with marketing teams to implement promotional activities and campaigns.
Financial Management:
Negotiate projects, contracts, and agreements with customers and partners.
Ensure profitable sales growth and contribute to the company's overall financial objectives.
Oversee accounts receivable and assist in collections.
Requirements:
Minimum qualifications include:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical/Instrumentation); MBA or equivalent is a plus.
• 8-10 years of experience in sales management within BMS/Controls in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of BMS & HVAC Controls Systems and Solutions.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving growth.
• Leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
