BEST CONFIDENCE SHIP REPAIR LLC is seeking an experienced and visionary Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead and grow the organisation across its core areas of Dry Docking, Ship Repair, and Ship Building. The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader with a strong technical background in the marine engineering industry, proven operational expertise, and a passion for driving excellence and innovation in maritime services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to all company operations, with a primary focus on dry docking, ship repair, and new build projects.
  • Lead business development initiatives to expand market presence and foster long-term client relationships.
  • Oversee project execution, ensuring quality, compliance, timelines, and budget goals are met.
  • Drive operational efficiency, optimise resource allocation, and implement industry best practices.
  • Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing leadership team and workforce.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and regulatory bodies.
  • Monitor and adapt to industry trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements.
  • Report to the board of directors on performance, strategy, risks, and opportunities.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in the marine, ship repair, or shipbuilding industry, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Techno-commercial knowledge in the shipyard is important.
  • Must be familiar with the ship's machinery and systems.
  • Must have shipyard experience at a senior management level.
  • Proven expertise in managing shipyard operations, dry docking projects, and new builds.
  • Strong commercial acumen and experience handling high-value projects and client portfolios.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
  • Familiarity with international maritime standards, safety protocols, and compliance regulations.
