We are looking for a Financial Reporting Analyst - Group of Industries to provide accurate, data-driven insights on company profitability, solvency, stability, and liquidity. You will research and analyze financial information to assist in making informed decisions, prepare reports, and monitor financial movements.
Responsibilities:
- Consolidate and analyze financial data (budgets, income statement forecasts, etc.) considering company goals and financial standing.
- Propose creative alternatives and recommendations to reduce costs and enhance financial performance.
- Assemble and summarize data to create sophisticated reports on financial status and risks.
- Develop financial models, conduct benchmarking, and process analysis.
- Conduct business studies on past, current, and comparative performance; develop forecast models.
- Identify trends, advise management, and recommend actions based on sound analysis.
- Track actual results against forecasts to determine financial status.
- Reconcile transactions by comparing and correcting data.
- Stay updated on field advancements through continuous learning.
- Consult with management to influence strategic decision-making.
- Drive process improvements and policy development initiatives.

- Prepare accounting and other reports based on analysis.

- Analyze financial data and support forecasting efforts.

- Review non-legal information related to prospective deals.
- Oversee financial functions including auditing, planning, budgeting, taxes, and cost control.
- Evaluate capital expenditures, depreciation, proposals, and investment opportunities.
- Provide financial advice for business investments and strategy.
- Determine operational costs through standard costs and operational data collection.
- Analyze past and current financial performance data.
- Prepare reports and projections based on analysis.
- Compare actual results with plans and forecasts to determine financial status.
- Establish and enforce policies for cost analysis.
- Enhance financial status by analyzing results, monitoring variances, and recommending improvements.
- Maintain data integrity through verification and backups.
- Develop automated accounting applications to increase productivity.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information.
- Attend workshops and review publications to maintain technical knowledge.

Desired Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, economics, or related field; CFA or CMA is a plus.
- 4-5 years of relevant experience in finance, financial planning & analysis, investment banking, or related fields.
- Proven experience in the financial industry.
- Strong Excel skills and financial modeling experience.
- Proficiency with spreadsheets, databases, and financial software.
- Excellent presentation, reporting, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of financial forecasting, diagnosis, corporate finance, and data analysis.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Comfortable with computer-based tasks.
Skills and Requirements:
