Job summary

A leading US-based leak detection technology company is seeking a Sales Engineer for the UAE market. The role involves driving the sales cycle, conducting technical presentations, and collaborating with teams to solve customer problems. Ideal candidates will have technical sales experience in building management systems or similar fields and be fluent in Arabic.

Job description

The Sales Engineer will drive the sales cycle from building customer relationships, generating inquiries, designing solutions, to closing sales. You will work closely with the sales manager, technical manager, and other functional teams in the UAE market. You are people-focused, passionate about solving customer problems, and attentive to details.

Responsibilities
  1. Conduct routine technical product presentations and demonstrations at lunch and learn sessions with channel partners and customers.
  2. Qualify and convert incoming leads into sales opportunities and close business.
  3. Participate in tradeshows and other marketing initiatives to raise product awareness and increase sales.
  4. Build knowledge of competing products and develop strategies to sell against them.
  5. Collaborate with the technical support team to provide timely customer support.
  6. Update CRM tool information regularly.
Requirements
  1. At least 1-3 years of experience in the UAE region.
  2. Bachelor’s or advanced degree in technical fields preferred.
  3. Experience in technical sales, preferably in building management systems, HVAC, fire systems, or industrial controls in mission-critical facilities.
  4. Experience and contacts in data center and commercial building projects are required.
  5. Exposure to O&G market is a plus but not required.
  6. Understanding of sensing technology and monitoring systems.
  7. Fluent in Arabic is preferred.
  8. Proficient in computer skills, ideally with experience in take-off tools such as Bluebeam and Adobe.
  9. Ability to travel within the UAE market up to 50%.
