Job description

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Director to lead project-driven sales initiatives for a leading ceramics and porcelain manufacturing company based in Dubai, UAE.

The ideal candidate will be a male Arabic speaker with a proven track record in large-scale project sales, strong B2B contract negotiation skills, and in-depth industry knowledge in building materials, ceramics, tiles, or construction materials.

This role involves formulating and executing strategic sales plans, driving sustainable business growth, and expanding the company’s footprint across the GCC and international markets.

The successful candidate will be a motivational leader with strong sales acumen, exceptional interpersonal skills, and the ability to lead and inspire a high-performing sales team.\

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales Strategy & Growth

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet revenue targets and boost market share.
  • Identify new market opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends.
  • Drive initiatives for overall product and brand growth in local and international markets.
  • Manage, mentor, and motivate the sales team to meet and exceed targets.
  • Conduct regular training and performance evaluations to enhance team capabilities.
  • Create a collaborative and success-driven team environment.

3. Account Management

  • Build and sustain strong relationships with key accounts and high-value clients.
  • Lead contract negotiations and secure major deals.
  • Oversee the post-sales process to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.

4. Market Analysis & Reporting

  • Monitor competitor activities, market dynamics, and customer feedback.
  • Prepare and present sales forecasts, performance reviews, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Analyze sales trends and implement data-driven improvements.

5. Product Knowledge & Presentation

  • Maintain up-to-date product and market knowledge.
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition of the company’s product line to clients.
  • Ensure the sales team is equipped with all necessary tools and product training.
  • Partner with marketing for campaigns and promotional strategies.
  • Coordinate with operations and logistics to ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment.
  • Define performance benchmarks and monitor KPIs for the sales team.
  • Take corrective action when necessary to ensure objectives are achieved.
  • Continuously collect and act upon customer feedback to improve service quality.
