Job description

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct daily site inspections to monitor and verify architectural works are executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and project standards.
• Ensure compliance with contract documents, local regulations, and quality standards throughout all stages of construction.
• Review and comment on shop drawings, material submittals, mockups, and method statements.
• Identify nonconforming works, issue site observations/NCRs, and follow up on corrective actions.
• Inspect and verify architectural finishes including masonry, cladding, waterproofing, joinery, false ceilings, paintwork, tiling, and other interior works.
• Coordinate with other discipline inspectors and site teams to ensure multi-trade integration and avoid clashes.
• Participate in snagging and desnagging inspections, including preparation of punch lists and ensuring timely closure of items.
• Attend site meetings with contractors, consultants, and client representatives to ensure all inspections and records are properly documented and filed.

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience as an Architectural Inspector with a design consultancy background.
• Proven experience on large-scale commercial, residential, or mixed-use developments in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of UAE building codes, architectural standards, and finishing materials.
• Excellent attention to detail, communication, and reporting skills.
• Must be currently based in the UAE and available to join immediately.
