Job Summary

As a direct member of the Casino team and the broader distributed Analytics team, you'll help grow Momentum's iGaming Casino business. Working closely with the Casino Commercial, Product, Operations, and Regulatory teams, you will combine your knowledge of casinos and experience in quantitative analysis and reporting to ensure data plays a leading role in driving the future growth and direction of the Casino business.

Responsibilities

The Casino & Sportsbook Data Analyst will report to Momentum's Director of Casino. Responsibilities include:

• Delivering insight and analysis into the performance of our casino games portfolio.
• Providing valuable insights into game performance, game placement, player preferences, and supplier/market external benchmarking.
• Evaluating the performance of casino campaigns and promotions.
• Producing specific customer cohort analysis to support ongoing marketing acquisition and retention campaigns.
• Conducting new product commercial impact assessments to drive future roadmap prioritization.
• Performing in-depth analysis of customer loyalty and VIP offers to optimize the highest-value customer segment.
• Understanding performance trends and telling the story behind the numbers.
• Defining and implementing measurement strategies and producing meaningful KPIs and reports with actionable insights.
• Managing the priority list of data requests and educating stakeholders on how to ask the right questions to generate insights that drive business outcomes.
• Supporting game protection, fraud detection, and forensic investigations.

Requirements

We are looking for individuals who have a deep understanding of online casino customers, what drives them, and how to generate actionable insights from analysis. To be successful in this team, you should:

• Be creative, methodical, logical, and structured in your work.
• Have a strong understanding of probability and statistics.
• Be comfortable writing code to source data, manipulating it to focus on key areas, and creating compelling visualizations and narratives.
• Possess strong Excel skills and be proficient in SQL; experience with Tableau and Power BI is a plus.
• Have an interest in or experience with analytical programming languages such as Python or R.
• Be willing to lead from the front and contribute to continuous improvement in analytical tools and techniques.
• Be confident in managing senior stakeholder expectations and providing reasoned pushback when necessary.
• Have prior experience in a similar role within an online casino environment (essential).
• Be able to translate complex data into clear, accessible insights for stakeholders at all levels, supported by strong presentation skills.
• Have exceptional data wrangling skills, including working with complex, disparate datasets and automating analytics workflows.
• Hold a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Data Analytics, Computer Science, Finance, or Business Administration.
• Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, risk management, or a similar field.
